IH-30 Tom Landry Freeway – Dallas, Texas
Kiewit was awarded this $112 million project to widen and reconstruct a section
of IH-30. The work involved almost 4.5 miles of reconstruction to create four
lanes in each direction, reconstruction of 11 bridges, construction of retaining
walls, and drainage enhancements. To minimize inconvenience to the public
and to the nearly 150,000 daily motorists, Kiewit worked with TxDOT to
re-phase the original 54-month project to a 30-month scheduled completion. |
